RTE beauty Sharon Ni Bheolain has ruled out becoming a chat show host because she loves news too much.
The gorgeous gaelgoir, 36, told RTE Guide she had no interest in trading in her swivel chair for a comfy couch.
She added: "The words 'hell' and 'freezing over' spring to mind. No. And that's emphatic. News is home to me and my heart is in the newsroom.
"I love the unpredictability, the challenge, the blood rush with working on a beast of a bulletin like the Six One.
"I have great colleagues, great bosses. I never mind coming in to work."
The popular presenter hosts the Six One bulletin along with veteran reporter Brian Dobson.
As well as appearing nightly on the news show, the mother of one has become an internet phenomena with a number of fan sites dedicated to her.
And Ballydung rogues Podge and Rodge are particularly fond of Sharon dubbing her Sharon Ni Bellybutton.
